Details:
* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations
between 2 and 7 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible. Winds
gusting as high as 65 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Iowa and east
central, northeast, and southeast Nebraska.

* WHEN...From 7 AM to 10 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible. Widespread
blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions will impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with

* WHAT...North winds 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Iowa and east
central and southeast Nebraska.

* WHEN...From 4 AM to 7 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Scattered power outages are expected. Where heavier snow occurs,
travel will be difficult to impossible due to near-zero
visibilities in blowing snow.

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
